Apple Blossom Valley Health
10k Race

10k raceThe annual running of the Apple Blossom Valley Health 10K Race will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 4th. Attracting over 1,500 runners in 2012, it is a race for runners of all abilities. Runners will be greeted and cheered from the crowds along the 10K course.

The race course is certified by USA Track and Field. The event will be scored using the ChampionChip Timing System. Starting and finishing at John Handley High School, it winds through the streets of Winchester, covering parts of the Apple Blossom Parade route. Come and join us in 2010 it is fun to watch as well as run.

Registration begins at 7:00 a.m. You may also register on Friday, May 3rd, starting at 2:00 p.m. and closes promptly at 3:45 p.m or you may register Saturday, May 4th between 7:00 a.m. - 8:15 a.m. Packet can only be picked up on Saturday morning.

Other Information:

  • CHIP TIMING: Both events will be scored by Runner’s High using the ChampionChip Timing System. On race day, runners will be issued a computer chip which is attached to the shoelace and worn throughout the race. Timing mats at the finish will record a finishing time for each chip.
  • Meticulously organized race. Join us for the best 10K of fun you’ll have this spring.
  • No Shower Facilities available.
  • No Refunds.
  • Runners must complete race within 1 hour and 30 minutes.
  • Restroom facilities are available at the Handley Blvd. (Accessible facilities available).
  • Splits will be provided at 1 mile, 3.1 mile (5K), 5 mile. Aid stations will be provided frequently.
  • Awards Nontransferable and No Duplication of Awards.
  • No bicycles, roller blades, scooters, skate boards, headphones, strollers or animals on leashes allowed on race course.
  • Water, other fluids, and snacks available for runners.
