Battlefield Boots Bluegrass Festival
The Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival is pleased to continue its tradition of bringing some of the finest talent in bluegrass to the stage. This year will feature The SteelDrivers, a group of seasoned veterans who combine country, soul, and contemporary influences to create new music with an old feeling. SteelDrivers fan Vince Gill describes the band’s fusion as simply "an incredible combination."
Also appearing will be The Grascals,and
rounding out the festival will be the Stony Point Quartet.
The 2013 Bluegrass Festival will be held in its familiar location at the Sprint Tent on the campus of the Winchester Medical Center from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 5.
