Valley Health Fast Forward Luncheon
One of the rising tenets of business in the 21st century is that a healthy
body leads to a healthy mind and a healthy attitude about life; and, thus,
leads on to success in business. Valley
Health Wellness Services is pleased
to show its support for this belief through the imminent construction of
its new wellness facility on the Winchester Medical Center campus and through
its sponsorship of this event. Lead by Executive Director of Orthopedics
and Rehabilitation, Dena Kent, Valley Health is pleased to partner with
Charlie Weiss and the Top of Virginia
Regional Chamber and the Shenandoah
Apple Blossom Festival® to present the 2nd annual Valley Health Fast
Forward Luncheon on Thursday, May 1, from
11 am to 1 pm at the Sprint Center
Tent on the grounds of the Winchester Medical Center next to the Shenandoah
University Pharmacy School.
Produced “for the savvy professional”, this event will provide
our business community with an extended, healthy, dynamic, non-alcoholic
luncheon to kick off the Festival period. The program will include interesting
displays from Valley Health’s new wellness facility and social and
networking time; a healthy luncheon provided by Valley Health food services;
and a keynote address by nationally famous motivational speaker, Gregory
A. Dale.
Mr. Dale will speak on “Creating
a Championship Mindset In the Workplace”.
Greg is a Professor of Sport Psychology and Sport Ethics at Duke University.
He is also the Director of Mental Training and Co-Director of the Leadership
Program for Duke Athletics. In addition to his work with Duke athletes
and coaches, Greg consults with numerous college and professional athletes
and teams as well as corporate groups. Greg has written three books related
to leadership and performance. Greg has been featured on Good Morning America,
MSNBC and numerous national radio programs.
Individual tickets for the Fast Forward Luncheon will be $25.00 per person
for general admission seating. A corporate rate of $325.00 will reserve
a table of eight with corporate table sign, table favors, mention in the
event program and table favors.
