V.F.I.S. Fire Truck Rodeo and Display of new & antique firefighting equipment

The 6th annual Fire Truck Rodeo, sponsored by Volunteer Fireman’s Insurance Service will be held in conjunction with the Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival® as a part of the Firefighter activities. It will be held on Friday, May 1st at Millbrook High School. The competition begins at 8 a.m., rain or shine and gives the firefighters an opportunity to show their driving skills. It also helps drivers to improve the performance of their everyday driving. The Fire Truck Rodeo was started in 2004. Trophies will be awarded for first, second, third and fourth place winners. Congratulations to last year’s winners!

In addition, more than 200 modern and antique fire fighting units will be at Millbrook High School from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. for judging and display purposes. Photo opportunities are numerous!
