First Bank Queen's Dinner
The First Bank Queen’s Dinner, which has been held for more than four decades, will usher in the celebration of the 83rd Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival® as Queen Shenandoah LXXXIII designate, is presented. The Queen and her court will enter through an arch of sabers held by cadets from Randolph-Macon Academy to a trumpeter’s fanfare.
The evening is filled with tradition and festivities including a delicious catered meal, the cutting of the Queen’s Apple Pie, and greetings from special dignitaries throughout the community.
Barry Lee, morning talk show host for 92.5 WINC, will emcee this year’s dinner, which is hosted by the civic clubs of the Winchester area. The First Bank Queen’s Dinner will be served at the Lee-Jackson Best Western beginning at 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 29th. The First Bank Queen’s Dinner is sponsored by Northern Virginia Daily.
