Miller Lite Stag Luncheon
Nearly 2000 men look forward to the Miller Lite Stag Luncheon, where
friends meet to share in food, fun and fellowship.
The luncheon is an opportunity to renew acquaintances and reunite with friends who might not have seen each other since the previous year’s function. This year, the Stag Luncheon will be held on Friday, April 30th, at 11:45 a.m. at the Winchester Cold Storage on North Loudoun Street.
The NoDrama band will be returning as the featured musical entertainment this year. Since the Beatles lead the explosion in the "group" format of rock music in the 1960s, the Winchester area, while not producing a nationally famous rock band, has produced and been home to a significant cadre of top-notch rock musicians. Over the years, these musicians have joined bands, formed bands, played solo, re-formed bands, and backed up famous national acts. From time to time a group of our local stars has joined together to form a regional "superstar" band. The NoDrama band is just such a group. Check out these names: Big Ed Reedy on drums, percussion and vocals; Chuck Ritenour on bass and vocals; Paul Moschetto on guitars and vocals; and, Ralph Fortune on guitars and vocals. Anyone that knows anything about the "history of rock" in this region knows that this is one of our ultimate superstar bands. The Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival(r) is most fortunate to have the NoDrama Band appearing at the Miller Lite Stag Luncheon, 11:30am, Friday, April 30th, at the traditional location between the cold storages at North Loudoun and Wyck Streets. Join a couple thousand of your best buddies on the first day of May, under the blue skies, enjoying a cold draft and listening to the elevating rock of the NoDrama Band.
In addition to the musical entertainment, sports celebrities will appear at the luncheon. The Miller Lite Stag Luncheon is presented by 99.3 The Fox, and sponsored by Sunbelt Rentals, Saturn of Winchester, The Contractor Yard, Sheetz and NAPA. Taxi USA will be providing complimentary taxi services.
