In
its 8th year as an Official Festival Event, the Apple Federal Credit
Union Street Show spices up the Pre-Grand Feature Parade mood in Old
Town on Saturday May 1st, from 12 noon to
1 p.m. The event is held on
Cork Street on the parade route in the hour before the parade begins.
This is the block of Cork Street that stretches between the color and
excitement of the Parade Line-up Area on Cameron Street and the sights
and sounds of the Old Town Midway on Loudoun Street. Festival celebrities
will also be lunching in the area at that time.
This year’s performers are scheduled to be: The Hanover Lancers Drum and Bugle Corps from Hanover, Pennsylvania; the Woodland String Band, a Philadelphia Mummers’ Band; and, the Yankee Rebels Drum and Bugle Corps from Baltimore, Maryland.
