Laden with gleaming chrome and perfection paint, millions of dollars worth of automobile history will wait to be critiqued by judges and admired by Weekend-in-the-Park visitors at the annual Apple Blossom Car Show hosted by Winchester’s premier Car Club, Yesterday’s Cruisers of Winchester. President Richard Funk expects upwards to three hundred vehicles including classic cars, muscle cars, street rods, trucks, sports cars and vintage automobiles. Awards for the top 50 in the open class car and truck and Best-in Show Car and Best–in Show Truck. The first 200 entries will receive complementary souvenir dash plaques.
Yesterday’s Cruisers, Inc. is a non-profit car club founded in 1987 by local businessmen and car buffs Dan Sullivan, Gary Dunn, Ronnie Hammond and Ernie Creek. There will also be other special interest displays, food, music, entertainment, crafts and an antique fire-fighting equipment display will also make up the Sunday event.
Car show chairman Doyne Teets and Tim Athey will be on hand along with members of Yesterday’s Cruisers, Inc. to make sure you have a great fun filled day and a great show. Please note that
pets are not allowed in Anthony’s
Pizza Weekend in the Park.
