Weekend in the park

“I now declare the 81st Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival® Weekend in the Park open!”

Jaqui RiceThese words will be proclaimed by Queen Shenandoah LXXXI at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 3rd, at the main entrance to Anthony’s Pizza Weekend in the Park during our Grand Opening Ceremony.

The entry fee is $5.00 with a two-day pin available for $7.50. On Sunday this fee gets you into both the Craft Show and the Car Show. All US Military personnel in uniform will be admitted for FREE, and children under 12 accompanied by an adult will also be admitted for FREE.

Celebrate our annual outdoor extravaganza with over 200 juried artisans in 3 separate areas of the park. Each of the artisans will compete for awards which will be presented on Saturday afternoon. This event is one of the biggest Arts & Crafts Shows on the East Coast!

Jesse & James and Mutts Gone NutsOn Sunday enjoy Hood Fun Day in the Park and Saturn of Winchester Cruise-In Car Show. Throughout the weekend, there will also be musical entertainment including Bobby Cunningham and the Canyon River Band, Jesse & James and Mutts Gone Nuts, and local band After Destiny. Check out the Entertainment page for more information on band performances. Returning attractions include the Salute to the Heroes Zone and Giant Robot #9.

Hungry? We have a variety of festival foods to tempt you.

On Sunday, the Hood Fun Day in the Park activities are scheduled behind the War Memorial Building. They are free and are just for kids-of all ages!

Yesterday's Cruisers car club again promises to have over 250 vintage and classic "muscle cars" from the 40s, 50s and 60s!

Bring your family and plan to stay the day. We have something for everyone! Please note that pets are not allowed in Anthony’s Pizza Weekend in the Park.
