“I now declare the Weekend in the Park open!"

With those words by Queen Shenandoah, , the two-day Anthony’s Pizza Weekend in the Park will open at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 5th. The event, also sponsored by Valley Health and Chevrolet, is an annual arts and crafts and family fun event. It  is held behind the War Memorial Building in the Jim Barnett Park and also features food, helicopter rides, games, comedy, music, and fun for every member of the family.

It is especially geared for kids of all ages. Second is the NAPA - Yesterday's Cruisers Car Show, which again promises to have over 200 vintage and classic "muscle cars" from the 40s, 50s and 60s! This event is on Sunday only and is weather-dependent. There will also be a second day of Entertainment.
