Explore the historic district using a self-guided walking tour brochure, detailing the history of the area, which can be found at the Winchester-Frederick County Visitors Center.
MID-DAY
During the day, also make sure to also check out one of the many farmers markets and orchards in the area. Take a day trip outside of the Old Town area and explore all the goods these markets have to offer. Consider visiting the popular West Oak’s Farm Market, Marker-Miller Orchards, Richard’s Fruit Market, Mackintosh Fruit Farm, and many more.
AFTERNOON
Visit Old Town Winchester to enjoy the first half of Apple Blossom Festival’s Bloomin’ Wine Fest. Starting at 3:00 p.m., the two-day event features wines from 24 Virginia wineries and craft breweries. Also make sure to explore Old Town; shop in some of our 30 boutiques and get dinner at one of our 25 restaurants.

Be welcomed by Miss Apple Blossom and join her for a nice hearty breakfast that the entire family is sure to enjoy! Afterwards, take in the beautiful scenery with a tour of the orchard, and explore what West Oak’s has to offer.
AFTERNOON
Come back to Old Town to enjoy the Bloomin’ Wine Fest and the Arts Fest on the south side in Old Town Winchester, beginning at 11:00 a.m. Participate in the chance to support local artists and wineries, all while walking Old Town.
EVENING
Want to enjoy some of the night life that Winchester has to offer? Winchester has many bars that cater to the night owls. Consider visiting Piccadilly Public House and Restaurant, an old warehouse that was turned into a restaurant and bar. Also consider visiting an event at the Bright Box Theater, the event center in Old Town Winchester hosts a variety of events from music to comedy shows.

On the tour, you will get to take in some beautiful scenery in our very own Shenandoah Valley, all while learning about the history of the apple industry and sampling some locally brewed hard cider. Tours will take place at 11 a.m., 12 noon, 1 p.m., 2 p.m., and 3 p.m.
