American Woodmark Fireworks Show
The American Woodmark fireworks display offers something for everyone. Walk from the Old Town Midway and along the firefighter’s parade route to Handley High School campus, find a perfect spot on the lawn and watch the American Woodmark fireworks show! People will begin to arrive and start spreading their blankets out on the ground in the early Friday afternoon. With anticipation of watching the incredible fireworks show at dusk. As the crowd gathers during the afternoon and evening vendors will offer various food items in the mini-midway as well as other souvenirs. The fireworks display itself is a little over 20 minutes long and a soundtrack of pop, rock and country music runs throughout the show. It is very modern with multiple unusual special effects not seen at traditional fireworks shows. The tight, urban location prohibits high altitude effects. Most of the show is under 200 feet and is best viewed from the ground level, on site at John Handley High School. TREX Music Fest The TREX Music Fest is a lead in to the American Woodmark firework show. As people are gathering early and stake in their claim for the best spot to watch the fireworks show the TREX provides a music for everyone to gear up and enjoy the electric atmosphere. At 9:00 PM we will also have the singing of the National Anthem just before the fireworks show begins. There will also be vendors on the campus that will sell pizza and soft drinks for charitable organizations.
