The 195+ unit 4 division parade features bands from all over the region and east coast, as well as celebrities
and professional bands. The route is approximately 1.5 miles and takes 45 minutes to complete and winds around the
historic downtown area and ends up at the iconic Handley High School Campus.
We are just a short distance from Washington, D.C. nestled in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley.
We have been rated by Expedia as a “Top 25 Springtime Travel Destination”.
Awards for both parades will be presented behind the Judges’ Stand on the campus of John Handley High School
(southwest corner of Handley Boulevard and Washington Street) immediately following the Grand Feature Parade on
Saturday evening at approximately 5:00 P.M. The Handley Campus may be used for relaxation.
Awards not picked up will be mailed.
There are no fees to participate. Sample Adjudication forms will be provided once the band has been accepted.
