Miss Honorary Fire & Rescue Chief Contest to be Held Saturday, March 14

The In-Town and Out-of-Town Miss Honorary Fire and Rescue Chief Contest, presented by Trex, will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday at James Wood Middle School in Winchester.

The contest, where local fire companies are represented by a young lady aged 16 – 21, is one of the longest-running Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival® events. Tickets are $10 at the door, children under 12 will be $5. Cash and credit cards will be accepted.

The 2026 In-Town Contestants are Alexis Brown (Gainesboro), Bella Walters (Middletown), Madison Langley (Clear Brook), Paige Littman (Round Hill), Sophia Aquila (Greenwood) and Molly Maynard (Gore).

The 2026 Out-of-Town Contestants are Emmy Courtney (Stanley), Natalie Rasmussen (Toms Brook), Ava Slovinsky (South Morgan), Alexis Forbes (Woodstock), Lillian Campbell (Elkton) and Trinity Thomasson (Front Royal).
