TV Personality and Sports Commentator Jesse Palmer to serve as the 99th Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival® Grand Marshal

Festival President, Jeremy Luttrell is pleased to announce that Jesse Palmer, television host, sports analyst and former NFL quarterback, will serve as Grand Marshal for the 99th Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival®. 


Jesse Palmer is the host of ABC’s “The Bachelor” franchises while also hosting The Food Network’s popular “Spring Baking Championship,” “Summer Baking Championship” and “Holiday Baking Championship.” 


A former quarterback for the University of Florida as well as the New York Giants and San Francisco 49ers, he is also a college football analyst on ESPN and ABC. He continues to delight fans, by appearing  in EA Sports’ College Football ’25 and '26 video games and hosting the Oscars® Red Carpet Show. 


He has also served as host of the Emmy® Award- winning DailyMail TV, “The Proposal,” “The Ultimate Surfer” and Disney Parks’ holiday specials. Palmer was a special contributor for “Good Morning America” as well as a contributor across all ABC News platforms focusing on major stories, news of the day and signature live events. 


In fall 2024, Palmer combined his deep roots in fashion and sports with the launch of his clothing line, J.Palmer, in partnership with Fanatics. 


Palmer resides in Miami with his wife and daughter.


Jesse Palmer will make public appearances at the Partlow Insurance Sports Breakfast on Saturday, May 2 at 9:00 a.m. at the Tolley Dental Zone inside the James R. Wilkins, Jr. Athletics and Events Center at Shenandoah University. Later that day, Palmer will greet fans as he rides through the Glo Fiber Grand Feature Parade, which steps off at 1:30 p.m.
