About A1A – The Official and Original Jimmy Buffett Tribute Show

Formed in 1991 by Jeff Pike and Scott Nickerson, A1A is the official and original Jimmy Buffett tribute band, and the longest-running tribute show of its kind. With more than three decades of experience, the band has performed at major national venues, Parrot Head conventions, and private events alongside members of Jimmy Buffett’s Coral Reefer Band.

A1A gained national recognition after winning a Jimmy Buffett Sound-Alike Contest in 1992, and they were the first band invited to headline the annual Jimmy Buffett “Meeting of the Minds” Parrot Head Convention. Over the years, they have recorded multiple live albums and original Trop Rock music, collaborated with notable musicians such as Greg “Fingers” Taylor, Amy Lee, Mac McAnally, and Robert Greenidge, and even appeared in Jimmy Buffett’s MTV video Fruitcakes.

Known for their energy, musicianship, and attention to detail, A1A continues to preserve and celebrate Jimmy Buffett’s legacy, delighting audiences nationwide with authentic performances, island vibes, and unforgettable shows.
