Festival Special Guest - Kennedy Fewell
The Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival® proudly announces Kennedy Fewell, Miss Virginia Volunteer She will take part in festival activities and ride through the Hang 10 Car Wash Firefighters’ Parade and Glofiber Grand Feature Parade.
Kennedy Fewell, currently serving as Miss Virginia Volunteer, is a dedicated advocate for service, leadership, and female empowerment throughout the Commonwealth. Her passion for giving back is reflected in her work with The Salvation Army and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, where she has logged more than 300 hours of volunteer service in recent months.
An entrepreneur and storyteller, Fewell owns the online boutique Shop June Ivy and hosts the podcast More to Me. She is also the founder of The Rise Project, an initiative focused on inspiring confidence, resilience, and leadership in young people through afterschool programs. In addition, she is currently writing her first children’s book, Miss Jubilee’s Joyride.
Through the Miss Virginia Volunteer Organization, Fewell has earned more than $20,000 in scholarships, allowing her to pursue a master’s degree in communication at Liberty University. She will go on to represent Virginia at the Miss Volunteer America Competition this June.
Fewell is excited to attend her first Apple Blossom Festival and experience the tradition and community spirit that make the event so special.
